How far in advance should I book my session?
I recommend booking at least six weeks in advance when possible. This gives us plenty of time to work out all of the details & you can schedule any beauty appointments you may want in preparation. If you are looking to get in sooner, still inquire! We will always try our best to find room in our schedule for a client.
When will I receive my album?
You will receive an email including the link to your online gallery within 8 weeks. From there, you can download all the photos from the gallery on any device. You can also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I do not guarantee an amount of photos. What I can guarantee, is you will be pleased with the outcome of your session.
How do you photograph weddings?
I always have a second photographer with me, because I believe your wedding is a story too important for one person to capture! We will be by your side every step of the way, guiding your day along. I will always work with other vendors to make sure your experience goes as smoothly as possible with Violet Fox Studios.
Where are you located and do you travel?
My studio is located in Alton, IL and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. I always try to find the savviest way to travel because I love to spread my creativity!
Do you require a deposit to hold my date?
Yes. Once you are ready to book, I will email your invoice with at least a 20% deposit due at that time.
Do you photograph newborns?
I am **NOT** a newborn photographer. Any professional photographer will agree that it takes training and experience to SAFELY and adequately pose newborns. I am not trained to do so, therefore I do not photograph any infant that is unable to sit up on their own unless they are being held in family photos.
